This little 0-4-0 saddle tank is based on the 2ft gauge industrial engine built by the W G  Bagnall Company of Stafford and was used in a variety of situations such as plantations, colleries, quarries, construction sites, gas works and manufacturing industry.

 

The model is built to 5inch gauge and is commonly known as Sweet Pea. Alf Hussey is a passed member of the club who built this engine, but passed away before he could run the engine. After his death his family donated it to the club and it was named Alf Hussey in his memory.
